SELVAGE DENIM
The word "selvage" comes from the phrase "self-edge", the natural edge of a roll of fabric. What makes this fabric so special is that the edge will never fray, thanks to old-style shuttle looms used to weave this fabric. At least three yards are needed to make a pair of men's jeans. Fabric widths vary from 28" to 32".
